Our setting

We started off as a playcentre and café but in 2017 we registered with Ofsted and started offering before and after school care for the local schools. We ran this successfully alongside the café until March 2020 when we decided to then change the business completely to a preschool and wrap around care provider. The business closed in March 2020 due to covid and reopened in July 2020 offering holiday club. In September 2020 we welcomed our first ever preschool children and have been running this successfully since.

 

Inside the preschool we have a separate area that our before/after school children mainly use. They use this area for den building, football, team games etc. 

We then have a separate preschool learning area where we do small group or one to one activities with our older preschool children.

We have a role play area which has a kitchen and a garage, it also has an area that we change every month, it’s been a post office, hairdressers, space station, café, police station, gift shop.

Our craft area consists of sand and water trays, painting/colouring/crafting tools and any messy play activities.

We have a quiet corner which has 2 sofas, large soft mats, and teddies for if the children want to have abit of quiet/calming time.

We have a small world area consisting of lots of cars, garages, a dolls house etc

Our huge outdoor area has a sandpit and lots of equipment, the area is securely fenced.  We have another space outside which is currently under development, this will be our nature garden eventually, where we will grow flowers and vegetables.

The children have access to the outdoor area every day and in all weathers.

Sessions

We are open Mon-Thurs 7am until 6pm and Friday 7am-5.30pm. We open term time but also offer holiday club in the school holidays, apart from Christmas where we close for 2 weeks and the last week of the 6 weeks holidays. We offer morning, afternoon, or full day sessions for children between the ages of 18 months to 4 years.

3pm until 6pm - £13.50
